The head of our office, Konstantinos Aivaliotis, successfully represented the Municipality of Zakynthos and the Ionian University in the “Zakynthos Shipwreck” case before the Hellenic Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) against the heirs of the original co-owner of the famous “SHIPWRECK” in Zakynthos.
In its decision no. 874/2025, issued at the end of May, the Supreme Court rejected the annulment request filed against the municipality and the university, accepting our arguments and thus paving the way for the preservation and full utilization by the Municipality of Zakynthos of the most photographed landmark in Greece after the Acropolis: the ship “PANAGIOTIS.”
On this occasion, we would like to once again thank the Mayor of Zakynthos, Mr. Stasinopoulos, the Rector of the Ionian University, Mr. Andreas Floros, and Member of Parliament Dionysis Aktipis for their unwavering trust in our office and the honor of representing the Municipality of Zakynthos and the Ionian University in this important trial before the highest court of the country.
